Rosewood Courtyard – Compact Urban Garden Transformation
This project focused on converting a small, underutilized courtyard in central London into a welcoming, modern green retreat. The original space consisted of cracked paving, poor soil pockets, and no defined planting structure. The goal was to bring life back into the courtyard by improving soil, introducing raised planting beds, adding fresh turf sections, and incorporating low-maintenance greenery. The result was a stylish, functional courtyard that feels larger, fresher, and more inviting.
Project Overview
A short intro summarizing the project:
This 80 m² courtyard renovation in London created a functional and low-maintenance space for outdoor relaxation. Over four weeks, we stripped old paving, restored the soil, built raised planters, and laid fresh turf. With layered planting and subtle lighting, the compact garden now delivers year-round greenery and a cozy atmosphere for gatherings.
“When working on entrance lawns, durability is key. By using traffic-resistant turf and reinforcing the soil, we ensured the lawn will stay healthy despite daily wear. The end result is a finish that looks sharp and holds up long-term.”
