Cedar Hill Residence – Sloped Backyard Regrading & Lawn Installation
This project transformed a steep, unusable backyard in Bristol, UK, into a level, family-friendly lawn. The original garden suffered from poor drainage, uneven ground, and persistent erosion. The goal was to regrade the slope, stabilise the soil, and establish a durable lawn that could be enjoyed year-round. The result was a smooth, resilient green space with defined borders and improved accessibility.
Project Overview
A short intro summarizing the project:
This 250 m² backyard renovation in Bristol turned a problematic slope into a functional and attractive lawn. Over nine weeks, we regraded the land, installed proper drainage, stabilised the soil, and laid premium turf. The finished lawn not only prevents erosion but also provides the homeowners with a safe, even space for relaxation and outdoor activities.
“Tackling a sloped garden requires both engineering and horticulture. By carefully regrading and improving drainage, we created a stable foundation for turf that will thrive without future erosion.”
